Who is the Novity program for?
Adults living with excess weight, type-2 diabetes or PCOS who want medically supervised care. Whether the program is right for you is decided by a doctor after your assessment.
Will I definitely be prescribed medication?
No. Medication is prescribed only if your doctor decides it is clinically appropriate for you. Every plan includes nutrition, strength and coaching support, with or without medication.
Why do I need regular blood tests?
Blood tests show your doctor whether a treatment is suitable, guide dose adjustment, and catch side effects or nutritional deficiencies early.
Are consultations online or in person?
Consultations happen by phone or video, so you can join from anywhere in India. Blood tests can be arranged at a partner lab or with home sample collection.
What happens when I stop the medication?
Your doctor plans this with you. The sustain phase focuses on nutrition, strength training and habits so that your results last after the prescription ends.
How is my personal data protected?
Your details are used only to provide your care and are handled in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We never sell your data.
What are semaglutide and tirzepatide?
Semaglutide and tirzepatide are prescription-only medicines used in the treatment of type-2 diabetes and, in some cases, obesity. Semaglutide acts on the GLP-1 hormone pathway; tirzepatide acts on both the GLP-1 and GIP pathways. Both help regulate appetite and blood sugar, and are usually given as a once-weekly injection.
Does Novity prescribe semaglutide or tirzepatide?
Only if your doctor decides it is clinically appropriate for you, after a full assessment and blood tests. Many Novity plans do not include medication at all. Where it is prescribed, your doctor monitors your progress and side effects, and adjusts your dose based on regular blood tests.
Why shouldn't I take semaglutide or tirzepatide without a doctor?
These medicines can cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting and digestive problems, and are not suitable for everyone. Without monitoring, deficiencies can go unnoticed, rapid weight loss can include muscle loss, and most of the weight often returns after stopping. A doctor-led plan with nutrition, strength training and follow-up blood tests helps make treatment safer and results longer-lasting.
