Enter your details for an estimate based on average results from published clinical studies, with or without medicine. You will see a likely timeline, a projection chart and the daily targets that protect your muscle while you lose fat. Estimates use average results from published studies of adults with obesity, or overweight with a related condition. Most participants were not South Asian, and individual results vary widely. The curve between the start and the study average is an estimate. Calories use the Mifflin–St Jeor equation with a 0.5 kg a week deficit, never below 1,200 kcal (women) or 1,500 kcal (men). Protein is 1.2 g and water 35 ml per kg, counting no more than the weight at a BMI of 25 for your height. Medicines are prescription-only and are prescribed only if a doctor decides they are suitable after an assessment and blood tests. Daily targets are general guides, not a diet plan. People with kidney disease, those taking diabetes medicines, and anyone who is pregnant need individual advice. BMI categories use the Asia-Pacific cut-offs (WHO, 2000).

Numbers are a start. A doctor turns them into a plan.

A Novity doctor looks at these numbers alongside your blood tests and health history, then builds a plan with nutrition, strength and coaching, and medicine only if it is right for you.
