BMR calculator: your body's energy use at rest
Basal metabolic rate is the energy your body uses at complete rest to breathe, pump blood, keep warm and keep every organ working. For most people it is the largest share of the calories they burn each day, even before getting out of bed. Walking, working and exercise are added on top of it.

These totals are your TDEE. The TDEE calculator explains them.
Uses the Mifflin–St Jeor equation (1990), with the revised Harris–Benedict equation (1984) for comparison. Both are estimates for healthy adults and can be 10% or more off for an individual. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for under-18s, or if you have kidney disease or take diabetes medicines without advice from your doctor. This is not medical advice.
Numbers are a start. A doctor turns them into a plan.
A Novity doctor looks at these numbers alongside your blood tests and health history, then builds a plan with nutrition, strength and coaching, and medicine only if it is right for you.
